Geographic information systems will be your companion throughout the entire study in one way or another. You will learn how to obtain and create spatial data, how to yield information from that data using simple or complicated analyses and how to display these findings in traditional or interactive cartographic outputs. Gradually, you will be guided through the field of geoinformatics by experts teaching you courses Geographic Information Systems I and II, Mapping and Cartography I and II, Acquisition and Presentation of Spatial Data, Geodatabases, Programming for GIS and RS, LiDAR Data Processing, Open Data and GIS, and Spatial Analyses in Environmental Science.
