Insect hotel - Summer school for children

At the end of the summer holidays, Filip Harabiš, Martin Štrobl, and Jana Hronková took part in the project summer school for children. Together with nineteen children aged 9-13, they constructed an insect hotel consisting of various materials (see pictures). The insect hotel will be placed in the university campus and will provide accommodation mainly for various species of solitary bees, but also earwigs and other groups of insects. We are looking forward to spring, when the insect hotel will start to be filled with new tenants.
