Introducing our ideas to farmers and government officials

At a discussion workshop held in collaboration with Vin Agro s.r.o., we introduced farmers, government employees, and NGO representatives to our ideas for an effective supporting of biodiversity in agricultural landscapes in ways that also benefit farmers. Along the discussion of the Ecologically Informed Precision Conservation (EIPC) concept, we had extensive talks on issues such as setting up grant schemes (e.g., for flower strips) and establishing and documenting landscape elements. The workshop was followed by media coverage on Czech television and Czech journal Ekolist.

Supported by projects: Efficient support of biodiversity in agricultural landscapes using perennial wildflower strips and Rationalization of agricultural landscapes to combine production functions with efficient biodiversity support.
