We have new reinforcements, this time from abroad

In May, the Insect ecology group received a new reinforcement - David Awde moved with us from Canada with his family and he is investigating the thermal biology of ladybirds. Dave, we wish you a fast acclimatization and good luck here in Prague in your post-doc position! Even our hockey players did their best for it when they lost the World Cup semi-final match against Canada :-).

In June, Shariar Abul Fazal from Bangladesh arrived to Prague for his doctoral studies. He will work with ladybirds too, but his topic will be ecology and physiology of ladybirds. Abul, good luck for you in our team!
