The teaching and scientific activities of the Department of Applied Ecology are focused on a wide range of issues, such as the historical development of a landscape, the spread of invasive plant species, environmental impact assessment, ecology and the use of wetland ecosystems, urban drainage and assessment and reuse of various types of waste. The members of the department guarantee two master’s programs (Landscape Engineering and Regional Environmental Management) and a bachelor’s program (Territorial Technical and Administrative Services).
