Teaching and scientific activities of the Department of Environmental Geosciences are focused on topics related to geology and geochemistry. Research activities of the Department are focused on many aspects of environmental geochemistry (adsorption and reaction-transport modeling, environmental isotope geochemistry, development of new remediation methods for contaminated soils), hydropedolgy (improving water retention in soils) and paleoecology. The Department guarantees the Mgr. (Master’s) programme Environmental Geosciences.
