The interview is focused on the verification of basic knowledge of the chosen specialization, English language skills, motivation to study, study prerequisites, and the Czech environment.
The ranking of the applicants is determined by the admission commission. The admission results will be sent to applicants via the portal https://is.czu.cz/prihlaska.
Accepted applicants will be contacted by IRO via email and guided through the following steps. Applicants admitted to study will be required to pay the tuition fee and provide proof of previous education.
Selected applicants are invited to proceed to the second round – the interview.
Information for the third phase applicants
For the (blended) Smart Sustainable Solutions programme, interviews are conducted online.
For all other study programmes, interviews are held in person at the Faculty of Environmental Sciences, Czech University of Life Sciences. Applicants are expected to attend these interviews on-site. If an applicant is unable to attend in person, they may submit a request to the Vice-Dean for International Relations to complete the interview online. The request must include one of the following:
- confirmation that the applicant does not require a visa to enter the Czech Republic;
- proof of a valid Czech visa; or
- a realistic timeline demonstrating that the applicant will obtain a visa in time to enrol by the end of September 2026.
