The proposal of the presented project focuses primarily on the use of so-called "smallest" hydropower plants, with a capacity of up to 5 kW or higher, and the determination of their hydropower potential in terms of the implementation and costs in the current and predicted conditions of the Czech Republic. The project focuses on the hydropower potential on existing and former hydropower mill sites, on newly identified unused sites and on artificially constructed stages both in the extravilan and intravilan of small watercourses and significant watercourses according to Decree No. 178/2012. The project design will reflect three time scenarios of climate change - present, 2050 horizon, 2100 horizon, which will take into account the variability or insufficient flow of selected watercourses.
