Abstract:  
The project aims are to investigate the influence of soil preparation treatments for wildflower strips (conventional tillage vs no-till with cover crops) on plant and invertebrate communities. To assess the effects of mechanical disturbances of wildflower strips on plant and invertebrate communities. To analyse the effect of management type (mowing vs. mulching) of wildflower strips on plant and invertebrate communities. To provide recommendations for an efficient use of wildflower strips: locality selection, establishment and management (NmetS) based on literature and experiments from this project. To promote the project via websites, social and traditional media, press releases, popularization articles, conference contributions and workshops.
