Abstract:
Agricultural production regions (ZVO) have production conditions and the use of agricultural soils based on soil and climatic conditions. The most recent delineation of ZVO was elaborated in the year 1996 based on System of Soil Ecological Units (abbreviated as BPEJ in Czech) with the use of the data (climate, soils) available till the year 1996. Nevetheless, current delineation does not reflect changes in climate or soil coverage induced by climate changes including the prediction of future changes. The aim of this project is to improve the delineation of ZVO based on the most recent databases related to climate and changes in soil mapping and evaluation. Statistical data related to management will be used to prepare economic data for the adjustement of directives.
