Abstract:
The aim of this project is to evaluate the effectiveness of soil conservation technologies in cereal cultivation in terms of water erosion reduction, yield stability and effectiveness of cropping systems. This project will also verify the effect of crop establishment date (winter vs. spring) on the occurrence of erosion events and verify the effectiveness of different tillage and seeding methods in terms of erosion control efficiency. The solution will also include an assessment of the potential of perennial cereals as an alternative to conventional cereal crops. The results of the project will support the adaptation of the DZES 5 standard and offer recommendations for the introduction of efficient, economically sustainable technologies in relation to climate change.
