Winter School of Snow Hydrology and Avalanche Prevention

The Department of Water Resources and Environmental Modeling organizes the Winter School of Snow Hydrology and Avalanche Prevention. The first year of the educational event will be held in the Krkonoše Mountains from 10th to 13th February, 2019. Participants learn, among other things, to measure snow properties, to estimate the amount of water in snow cover or to use avalanche equipment. The event is limited to a capacity of 20 people and candidates can apply by 10 January for email juras@fzp.czu.cz
