Managements in action

This year we obtained a grant from the Norwegian Funds: Environment, Ecosystems and Climate Change to support endangered butterfly species around the Prokop Valley in Prague. The activities are based on a combination of habitat management and evaluation of biological monitoring. Our local activities are also supported by the Prague City Hall.

In the attached photos you can see how we managed the meadow and forest-steppe habitats during the last summer. Sometimes it was really hard work. Now, in the autumn, we are removing grass turfs and sowing nectar-bearing plants. In the winter, a big event will take place: carving tree species.
