New harvestmen species for Bohemia discovered

In the spring of 2018, Martin Štrobl recorded the first occurrence of the rare harvestmen Eagenus convexus in Bohemia. A population of this species was found in a black locust woodlot in the middle of an arable field near Velké Přílepy. Several dead as well as live individuals were collected using pitfall traps (photo: Pavel Krásenský).
