Working trip to the European Carabidologist Meeting in the Dolomites

At the beginning of September 2019, Michal Knapp, Miroslav Seidl, Ezequiel González, Tomas Kadlec, and Martin Štrobl actively participated in the "European Carabidologist Meeting" in the town of Fiera di Primiero in the Dolomites, Italy. We presented the results of studies dealing with various aspects of the ground beetle life in non-crop habitats in agricultural landscapes. During the conference we established new and deepened existing contacts with colleagues from abroad. We used a nice excursion to the high altitudes of the Dolomites to collect ladybirds, ground beetles, and butterflies for our running and planned projects.
