Open Access Week

Martin participated in the Open Access Week at the CZU Library. The event promoted the idea of Open Science.

Open Access Week is held to inspire global momentum toward the open sharing of knowledge to address important social issues. This year's theme is Open For Climate Justice, and CZU Open Science Centre prepared an exciting program. The event started with the topic Citizen Science, or Prague is looking for fireflies, where Martin had his lecture. He talked about using citizen science (observations and input from the public) in our firefly survey project (see section Projects/Projekty).

You can watch the video from the opening event, including the lecture (in Czech), here.
