Lectures: James Ramsay, expert in EIA and natural resource management

We cordially invite you to lectures and meetings with an expert on environmental impact assessment (EIA) and natural resource management. James Ramsay (among others a member of the IUCN World Commission on Protected Areas) will share his practical experience of more than four decades of career, during which he has worked as a leader or specialist on many projects in Eastern Europe, Africa, the Middle East, the Caribbean and in Asia. His expertise covers in particular the assessment of hydropower construction, irrigation or road infrastructure, and related social and environmental issues, including biodiversity protection. The lectures will take place on May 16 at 10:30 in room D218 and on May 18 from 13:00 in room ZII.
