About 80 participants from 15 countries attended the 7th annual conference sponsored by the Centre for Heritage & Society at the University of Massachussetts, which took place at the venue of Faculty of Environmental Sciences, CZU Prague. Between May 16 and 20, guests had enjoyed various presentations exploring the relevance of heritage in present-day society. Broadly acclaimed event was supported by thematic visits to the vicinity of cities of Prachatice and Most, and to the Valeč Chateau.
Tim Badman (IUCN), Kristal Buckley (ICOMOS), Jan Plesník (AOPK ČR) and Ina Truxova (Czech ICOMOS) stars among other speakers.
