This year’s Earth Day at the Faculty of Environmental Science will take place on April 24, traditionally held in the atrium and adjacent lecture room.
Event Programme:

13:30 (ZI room) – Screening of the documentary Back Under the Trees, directed by Jan Hošek and filmed by Jiří Petr. This film highlights the importance of traditional forest management and its vital role in preserving biodiversity in Czech forests.

14:00 (Zl room) – Lecture and discussion with priest and molecular biologist Marek Orko Vácha.

15:00 (atrium) - Presentation of the Dean's Award of the FZP to the honored individual.

15:10 (atrium) – Opening of the exhibition Photographic Atlas of Plants of the Czech Republic, featuring a preview of the Orchids, Sedges, and Mordants chapter.

15:20 (atrium) – Award ceremony for the winners of the NAŽIVO student association’s photography competition.
Afterwards, a private social event for invited guests will follow in the atrium.
