Fieldwork has resumed at these sites since spring. At Mektovy Stráně, targeted extensive grazing with goats and sheep has been underway since April. In addition to our four-legged helpers, our autumn experiment involving the sowing of Rhinanthus species is also progressing well. At the Asuán site, grazing took place in June, followed by traditional strip and mosaic mowing in July. The area is teeming with life—burnet moths (Zygaenidae) and other insects show us the ecological vitality of the site during every visit.
