On September 9-13, 2024, our University hosted the IENE International Conference Prague 2024. This year, the important meeting was called "Biodiversity in the headlight of future transport". From the Conference Declaration (here is the link: https://www.iene2024.info/conference-declaration) has the very clear aim of "saving biodiversity in the headlight of future transport".
The Conference was addressed to policymakers, investors, authorities, companies, and academia, with the participation of several hundred participants from different countries and continents. Our team was present with a poster entitled "'Dead on road"': a meta-analysis of reptile roadkill in the Western Palearctic", made in collaboration with our colleagues from the Universidad Pablo de Olavide, Department of Physical, Chemical and Natural Systems, Sevilla, Spain.
