Climate change intensifies European drought

We contributed to a World Weather Attribution study showing how rising temperatures increase atmospheric demand for water and worsen drought across Europe. The hydrological analysis identified the lowest simulated April–June discharge of the Elbe at Děčín since 1950. The findings were featured in a CZU press release highlighting implications for water management in Czechia. Read more details here in Czech.
