Devvrat Yadav spent April-June 2026 working at the H-CEL Lab led by Prof. Diego Miralles, whose group leads pioneering research on land-atmosphere interactions and climate extremes at Ghent University. During the visit, he worked on the land-atmosphere interactions during a flash drought and heatwave compound event and also on the moisture source attribution for extreme precipitation events. The visit was a great opportunity to exchange ideas, refine our joint methodology, and strengthen the collaboration between CZU and Ghent University. It was a rewarding experience both scientifically and personally for Devvrat, and we look forward to continuing this partnership.
