On September 17, 2021, the 1st international online conference took place under the umbrella of the V4 Biochar Platform. Top researchers from all over the world gave their presentations on different approaches and novelties in the field of biochar. The aim was to share knowledge, skills and experience in the research and application of biochar. This first conference was introduced by Dr. Lukáš Trakal (Czech Republic) followed by eight speakers in total. Inspiring presentations on different use of biochar were provided. The conference was attended by more than 50 participants.
