V4 Biochar & Nutrient Management/Recovery Thematic Network

On May 20, 2021, an international online workshop took place under the umbrella of the V4 Biochar Platform and the NUTRIMAN project (H2020). The aim was to share knowledge, skills and experience in the use of biochar and new alternative fertilizing products within the V4 countries. This first kick-off meeting was introduced by Dr. Lukáš Trakal (Czech Republic) followed by a keynote speaker Edward Someus (Hungary). Inspiring presentations on the field application or the use of biochar in practice were provided by speakers from the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The workshop was attended by more than 50 participants.
