Biodiversity support at photovoltaic power plants

During March and April, we continued implementing biodiversity support at photovoltaic power plants. In Komorovice, we constructed two dry stone walls for reptiles and installed ten insect hotels made from durable natural materials in various shapes and sizes. At the Onyx I and II sites in Zdice, we added new nesting structures for solitary bees and created a system of five ponds to support amphibians and aquatic invertebrates. The spring management phase concluded at the Svatoslav PV site.

We thank Photon Energy for their collaboration on this fieldwork phase of the project!

Supported by the project: Optimizing biodiversity support of solar parks implemented in open countryside (SS07020239).
