PUBLICATION: Surface modification of a promising sorbent of As, Cd, Pb and Zn

A surface-modified amorphous manganese oxide was prepared to increase the stability of a previously studied promising stabilizing agent. Despite smaller mass loss of the modified sorbent, the immobilizing efficiency with respect to contaminating metals were comparable for both materials in the long term.
