We are thrilled to announce that our 2025 Environmental Engineering graduate and student ambassador, Ivanka Maria Leporowski, won 1st place for her oral presentation at the international ELLSP (Living the ELLSperience) Conference, hosted by SLU in Uppsala, Sweden, on November 14–15, 2025.
The annual ELLS student conference welcomed nearly 300 students from 13 partner universities, with CZU being a long-standing member of the network.
Ivanka’s bachelor’s thesis, “Pedaling towards Sustainability: Assessing and Designing a Bicycle Infrastructure at CZU Campus and Neighboring Areas of Prague-Suchdol,” focused on evaluating and improving bicycle infrastructure on and around the CZU campus. The thesis was supervised by Associate Professor Peter Kumble from the Department of Landscape and Urban Planning.
