European Congress of Entomology in Naples

Four members of our team (Jana Hronková, Michal Knapp, Michal Řeřicha, and Miroslav Seidl) presented the results of our research at the European Congress of Entomology in Naples, Italy. Our contributions were focused on: stress resistance in ladybirds, effects of temperature on overwintering of the invasive ladybird Harmonia axyridis, spatio-temporal distribution of ground beetles around arable field boundaries, and creation of species traits database for European dragonfly species. Our impact was not only limited to the scientific part of the program: the Spanish quarter in Naples will remember us for a while :-).
