Party tents for dragonflies

In the village Jevany, near Kostelec nad Černými lesy, we are launching behavioural experiments with dragonflies and water bugs. In the following years, we want to extend the experiments also to amphibians. In June 2021, three party tents that will serve as experimental arenas, including different types of water bodies (ponds), were built. We will observe oviposition preferences of dragonflies and water bugs in relation to different environmental factors. Please keep your fingers crossed for us to make the party successful!
