The last fieldwork in the agricultural landscape has been successfully completed for this year!

During September and October, botanical and entomological monitoring was completed in nectar-rich biostrips and experimental field margins, as part of our projects focused on improving biodiversity in the agricultural landscape. In mid-October, the final phase of management interventions in the nectar-rich biostrips was carried out (strip mowing with biomass removal vs. progressive strip mulching), in an experiment aimed at both rationalizing biostrip management for farmers and maximizing support for invertebrate biodiversity.

Supported by the projects: Rationalisation of wildflower strip application to support biodiversity on arable land (TAČR SS07010296) and Rationalization of agricultural landscapes to combine production functions with efficient biodiversity support (ZEMĚ II QL24010300).
