Last week, the Faculty of Environmental Sciences once again welcomed a high school group of Greek students as part of the Erasmus+ programme. The visit was organized in cooperation with MOVEU Mobility, continuing the successful partnership from previous years.
The programme started with a brief overview of the faculty and its key activities, delivered by the International Relations Office (IRO FŽP). This was followed by a session on Sustainability at CZU, where students learned about environmental and sustainable solutions implemented across the campus as well as innovative approaches used at music festivals. The students also engaged in an interactive sustainability quiz to test their knowledge.
A new addition to this year’s programme was a presentation on the use of drones in environmental protection and agriculture, showcasing modern technological practices used at our faculty.
The visit concluded with a guided campus tour. Students visited key locations connected to student life and green infrastructure, including the FZP building, green roofs, and the university farm. The Greek students were highly engaged, asked many insightful questions, and showed genuine interest in all the topics. We thank everyone involved for a pleasant visit and look forward to further developing this cooperation.
