Wildlife Conservation and Management in Europe – BIP

Vendy and Vojta represented our faculty at the Wildlife Conservation and Management in Europe – BIP, hosted by Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) as part of the EuroLeague of Life Sciences Universities (ELLS).

During the summer school, they explored biodiversity conservation in Poland's national parks, gained hands-on experience with field monitoring methods, and worked with tools used by conservation professionals, including camera traps, GIS, and biodiversity data collection. They also had the chance to learn about iconic European wildlife such as European bison, otters, and bats.

"The programme was absolutely amazing! Great organisation, a well-designed programme, and inspiring teachers. It was an incredible opportunity to learn from experts in the field, gain practical experience, and meet students from across Europe."
