Students from the University of Massachusetts Amherst Return to FZP CZU for the Cultural Landscape Preservation Summer School

The Faculty of Environmental Sciences at CZU Prague has once again welcomed a group of students from the University of Massachusetts Amherst participating in the international summer school Cultural Landscape Preservation.

The program, organized for many years by Kristina Janečková from the Department of Landscape and Urban Planning together with her colleagues, focuses on cultural landscapes, their values, historical development, and contemporary approaches to their preservation and sustainable management.

The summer school brings together students from the Czech Republic and the United States, providing a unique opportunity to exchange perspectives, discuss current challenges in landscape preservation, and learn from practical examples through field-based activities.

The long-term cooperation between the Faculty of Environmental Sciences and the University of Massachusetts Amherst represents an important platform for international education, academic exchange, and the development of institutional partnerships.
